Eskergo Snowshoe Trail

The Eskergo Snowshoe Trail is a 1.8-mile snowshoe-only trail that runs from the main building at the foundation's Nordic Center to the Ellis River Hot Chocolate Cabin. It runs parallel to the Ellis River and the Ellis River Cross-Country Skiing Trail. The terrain is relatively flat, and offers views of the river and the Nordic trail. Snowshoeing is bi-direction on this trail with a series of scenic loops at the end, near the cabin.
Wentworth Resort Course

This 3-mile trail is a mixed cross-country and snowshoeing loop. It travels around the town, and has numerous offshoots to other mixed trails. The terrain is easy to traverse on snowshoes, and includes many places to stop and rest. The Thompson House Eatery is directly on the trail, and the Troll Trail extension leads to the Red Fox Pub. Additionally, snowshoers can connect to a variety of other short trails that lead to the Covered Bridge and the Inn at Thorn Hill.
Tin Mountain Snowshoe Trails

The Tin Mountain Conservation Center maintains snowshoe trails around their nature preserve. These backcountry trails are approximately 2 miles from downtown Jackson, and can be accessed from Tin Mile Road. The center operates nature snowshoeing tours led by conservationists that will look for signs of wildlife, including ermine, coyote and moose. Snowshoe rentals are available through the center or through the foundation.
Holcombe Property Trails

The snowshoe-only trails on the Holcombe property are approximately 3 miles north of downtown Jackson, and are operated by the Jackson Ski Touring Foundation. They are accessible from Carter Notch Road, and have a parking facility at the head of the trails. The Mountainside Farm Bed and Breakfast is located near the end of the loop. The Waldo Way trail includes a scenic overlook with views of the Wildcat Brook, and connects up to Ruth's Woods Trail, which loops around the bed and breakfast. The trails are approximately 1.2 miles long on easy to mid-level terrain.
