How to Do an Arm Drag in Wrestling
Instructions
-
-
1
Intercept your opponent's arm as he moves to grab your body or shoulder by placing your hand, the one on the same side as his offending arm, on the inside of his forearm.
-
2
Rotate your arm over your opponent's offending arm and bring it to the outside of his arm as you slide your hand towards his wrist and push his arm, from the wrist, across his body and away from your body.
-
3
Grab your opponent under his arm by his triceps with your free hand and then pull your opponent by that arm to the side and towards you. Take a step forward as you pull so that your shoulders come against the side of your opponent's arm that you're holding.
-
4
Move into a locked position by throwing your hands around your opponent's waist and his one trapped arm and getting a good, low base. From the locked position use a wrestling takedown to score the point or, in a real fighting situation, to get him into a weak ground position so you can attack with your legs or hands.
