Instructions

    • 1

Cut a piece of ribbon to about 18 inches long and lay it flat on a table.

    • 2

Write on the ends of the ribbon with the paint pens. You can write "Go Team!", the name of the mascot or a favorite player's jersey number. You can write almost the entire length of the ribbon, but keep in mind that the very middle will not show when it's tied around the hair.

    • 3

Tie the ribbon in a knot around an elastic hair band. Make the knot in the middle of the ribbon so that two equal sides hang down.

    • 4

Secure your hair in a ponytail using the hair band. The ribbons should hang down with the hair.
