Cheerleading Pep Rally Ideas
-
Most Motivating Singing Group
-
Before the day of the pep rally, choose three or four groups to sing a song at the pep rally. They should sing upbeat songs that evoke thoughts of winning and success. Songs such as "We Will Rock You," "Let's Get It Started" and "Who Let the Dogs Out" are all classic choices. Students can dress according to the song they're singing or in spirited clothing. They can also choreograph dance steps to compliment their song while they're performing. The group that performs the best wins a prize related to the reason for the pep rally. Award tickets if the pep rally is for an upcoming game.
Most Spirited Fashion Designer
-
Supply a trunk or box with spirit items that represent your school. It should contain things like school T-shirts, team uniforms, items with school colors, ribbon, face paint, colored hair spray, pom poms and any other items that can be used to show spirit. Choose eight people and divide them into teams of two. One person on each team will dress up while the other person assists them. Give the teams three minutes to use things from the trunk or box to show their spirit. Offer a prize as an incentive for them to do their best. Whoever looks the most spirited wins the contest.
Most Fanatical Game Show Contestant

Choose a game show format used from shows such as "Jeopardy," "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" or "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." Select three or four people to answer questions about things everyone would have common knowledge about. Categories such as school history, school sports and school news are a few to use. The winning contestant could win money, a prize or special privilege.
