Follow with the next verse: "Far we their praises sing, for the glory and fame they've brought us. Loud let the bells them ring for here they come with banners flying! Far we their praises tell, for the glory and fame they've brought us. Loud let the bells them ring, for here they come with banners flying. Here they come, Hurrah!"

Sing verse one: "Sing to the colors that float in the light, hurrah for the yellow and blue! Yellow the stars as they ride through the night, and reel in a rollicking crew. Yellow the field where ripens the grain, and yellow the moon on the harvest wain. Hail! Hail to the colors that float in the light--hurrah for the yellow and blue!"
-

Learn verse two: "Blue are the billows that bow to the sun when yellow-robed morning is due. Blue are the curtains that evening has spun, the slumbers of Phoebus to woo. Blue are the blossoms to memory dear, and blue is the sapphire and gleams like a tear. Hail! Hail to the ribbons that nature has spun, hurrah for the yellow and blue!"
-
8
Finish up with verse three: "Here's to the college whose colors we wear, here's to the hearts that are true! Here's to the maid of the golden hair, and eyes that are brimming with blue! Garlands of bluebells and maize intertwine, and hearts that are true and voices combine. Hail! Hail to the college whose colors we wear, hurrah for the yellow and blue!"

Find clips of the University of Michigan band playing the songs you want to learn to sing on the school band's website (see Resources below). If the live versions you find are of unsatisfactory audio quality, hunt specifically for studio versions.

Sing along with the music once you've gotten comfortable with the progression of each song. Try to refer back to your lyrics sheet as seldom as you possibly can. When you feel confident that you have the lyrics memorized, try to sing along with just the music, leaving the aid of your lyrics sheet behind.
-
11
Turn off the music altogether and sing aloud from just your memory. If you get stuck, simply refer back to the music and/or lyrics and try again. Before long, you'll sound like a born and bred Wolverine!
