How to Create a Personalized Professional Sports Jersey

Every sports fan may have dreamed of suiting up for their favorite team one day, but the chances of that actually happening are remote. Wearing a personalized team jersey with their name and favorite number is a fan's next best option to "get in the game." Many sporting goods stores make customized jerseys. Additionally, the major professional sports leagues offer personalized jerseys for sale on their websites. The jerseys can be authentic, which are the same as the players wear but are more expensive, or replicas, which aren't as high a quality and are cheaper.

      Click the red "Custom Shop" link near the top of the page.

      Scroll down and click the large "Custom Jerseys" link, which shows a picture of a customized jersey.

      Find your favorite team and click on their jersey.

      Find which of your team's jerseys you want to purchase. You will have your pick from home, away and alternate jerseys, as well as replica or authentic jerseys.

      Click "Customize it" on your chosen jersey.

      Type in the name you want on your jersey and your chose number under "Step 1 of 2: Customize Your Jersey" and click "Preview."

      Select the right size for your jersey and click "Add to cart."

      Click on your favorite team in the list of links on the left-hand side of the page.

      Click on "Jerseys" on the left-hand side of the page. The link is located in a list under "Apparel type."

      Type in the name you want on your jersey and your chose a number under "Step One: Customize Your Jersey" and click "Preview."

      Click "Personalized Jerseys." It is the first link in the list on the left-hand side of the page.

      Click on your favorite team from the list.

      Choose the jersey that you want to customize and click on it.

      Click the green "Customize" button.

      Type the name and number you want under "Customize your jersey". Some baseball jerseys do not have names on them. In this case, you customize them only with a number.

      Find a jersey option that says "Blank or Customized."
