How to Display Sports Medals

Sports medals can be displayed in a case or they can be framed and placed on a wall. Displaying your sports medals is the best way to show off your accomplishments while protecting the medals at the same time.       Purchase a picture frame that's large enough to display your sports medals. You can choose to buy a frame that's already stained or you can stain it yourself.

      Choose the type of decorative backing to highlight your medals. The backing should be strong enough to hold several medals. A neutral backing in white, tan or light blue is usually best when showing off medals.

      Use straight pins or small nails to hang the medals on the backing.

      Clean the glass of the picture frame before putting the backing on the frame. Make sure the backing is locked in place before hanging the display on the wall.

      Attach the picture frame to the wall using nails or picture frame wire. The picture frame should hang at eye level so those viewing your medals will be able to see them clearly.
