How to Set a Rotating Bezel on a Watch
Analog watches made with bezels are popular with SCUBA divers because they offer an easy way to monitor the elapsed time during a dive. You don't need to be an underwater adventurer to make use of the bezel feature on your watch. Set the bezel to record the elapsed time for any activity, from a walk in the woods to baking your favorite meal.
Instructions

1
Hold the wrist with the watch up so you can read the face of the watch.
-
2
Rotate the bezel counterclockwise. A proper bezel does not turn clockwise to eliminate the possibility of accidentally reducing the elapsed time.
-
3
Stop rotating the bezel when the arrow or triangle is aligned with the minute hand. As time passes, the number of elapsed minutes is indicated by where the minute hand points on the bezel.
