How to Set an Ironman Timex Watch

The Timex Ironman watch series has been featured in many health and fitness magazines, such as Popular Science, Maximum Fitness and Sports Illustrated. There are several types of watches in this series that offer fitness enthusiasts options such as a GPS, heart rate monitoring and distance tracking. Ironman watches come in digital and analog versions. Setting the time on these watches is a straightforward process.

Instructions

  1. Analog

    • 1

      Pull the crown all the way out of the neutral position. The base of the crown should be lifted past the edge of the watch.

      Turn the crown until the hands of the watch rest on the correct time.

      Press the crown back into the neutral position. The crown will click when it is locked into place.

    Digital

    • 4

      Press pusher "A" to bring up the date/time setting. Pusher "A" is the button located on the lower left side of the watch. The pushers are labeled "A" through "D", moving clockwise around the watch.

      Press and hold pusher "D" until the word "Hold" is displayed on the watch face.

      Press pusher "C" to reset the second counter to zero.

      Press pusher "A" to bring up the "Hour" setting. Press pusher "C" to advance the hour until you reach the correct one. Press pushers "A" and "C" simultaneously to adjust the minutes, date, day and 12/24 hour format.

      Press pusher "D" to save the selected settings.
