How to Program a Timex Pedometer

A pedometer is a useful tool in helping to track your progress toward your fitness goals. Timex pedometers are designed to track your steps whether you are running or walking. To program a Timex pedometer, you will need to first determine the length of your stride. You can do this by measuring how far you walk in ten normal steps of either running or walking and then dividing the distance by ten to get your average stride length.
