How to Troubleshoot a Timex Ironman Solar 50-Lap-Dual Tech
The Timex Ironman Solar 50-Lap Dual Tech watch is unique because it is powered by solar energy. The watch battery recharges with light. Other functions of the watch include a digital or analog display, time and date, chronograph, countdown timer, alarm, optional hourly chime and an Indiglo night-light. The Ironman Solar 50-Lap watch can time up to 100 laps and store 50 laps. Because of the solar technology, you may need to troubleshoot some issues with this watch that you don't with a regular Ironman watch.

1
Position the watch so your sleeve does not cover the watch face if your watch does not seem to be charging properly when you are out in the light.
-

Store your Ironman watch where it is exposed to light if your solar battery seems to run down quickly.
-
3
Press any button or place your watch in sunlight if the display shuts off. The Ironman Solar 50-Lap shuts down the display after one month of no exposure to light.
