Flat Nasty Off Road Park

Flat Nasty Off Road Park is located outside of Jadwin in the Ozark Mountains in central Missouri. It snakes through an 850-acre, off-road park with trails through wooded hills, rock-filled riverbeds and muddy inclines. White KnuckleTrail at Flat Nasty is a one-and-a-half mile intermediate trail on the BF Goodrich Outstanding Trails list. For overnight stays, one cabin is available for small groups on the property, as well as campsites. The park allows use by ATV and motorcycle riders in addition to 4x4 drivers. The park also includes an off-road race course. Flat Nasty holds special off-road events throughout the year.

Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch

The Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch is located in southern Missouri, five miles south of Seymour and 45 minutes south of Springfield. The Ranch consists of 930 acres of off-road trails, ranging from level one to level five difficulty. The well marked trails pass through wooded hills and flowing water. Camping facilities include a main camp with a restaurant, air conditioned showers and camper hook-ups. As of 2010, The Ranch is open every weekend but a schedule of events may impact the availability of trails. Four-wheeling is permitted after dark, but the campground, mud pit and obstacle course close at midnight.

St. Joe State Park

St. Joe State Park, a 8,238-acre park, is located in southeastern Missouri. There are 2,000 acres of the park used for off-road vehicles. This riding area consists of trails for motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, utility terrain vehicles, dune buggies and four-wheel drive vehicles. The off road area contains 800 acres of sand flats. The remainder of the area consists of wooded hills and steep inclines. A staging area for off-road vehicles near the Park Office includes shelters, water, barbecue grills and a rinse station for vehicles. As of 2010, there is a daily fee of $5 for trail use.
