ATV Riding Parks in Indiana

ATV riding parks are often located on large plots of land with a variety a natural terrain, making Midwestern states, such as Indiana, ideal for varied off-road riding experiences. Off-road parks offer varying degrees of challenging trails for all skill levels, and allow for all types of vehicles to ride off-road trails. Most parks will not allow for children under 18 to ride unaccompanied, and will likely require all participants to sign a waiver before allowed to ride in their park.
  1. Badlands Off Road Park

    • Badlands Off Road Park, located in Attica, Indiana, is a privately-owned tract of approximately 800 acres tailored for off-road riding. Located on the land are sand dunes, pea gravel hills, rock crawling areas, bottomless mud pits, wood trails, shear drop-offs, hood-deep water depths, stream crossing, and other natural challenges for off-road riders. No rider under the age of 18 is allowed to check-in without a parent or legal guardian, and all participants must fill out a waiver during check-in at the registration office accompanied by a valid I.D. Badlands is open all year, seven days a week, and offers special events and races at their park location.

    Haspin Acres

    • Located in Laurel, Indiana, Haspin Acres is home to 750 acres of wooded hills and trails for off-road and motocross enthusiasts. All types of vehicles are permitted including factory SUVs, rail buggies, modified trucks, ATVs and dirt bikes. Besides trails for riding, two motocross tracks are also available, once of which is an outdoor style track, and the other a smaller supercross style track. Camping is available on site, and Haspin Acres' gate facility offers a kitchen, a cafeteria and showers. The park is open year-round, and race schedules usually run from spring to fall.

    Redbird State Riding Area

    • Redbird State Riding Area, or SRA, is Indiana's first state owned off-road riding area, located in Dugger, Indiana. Once an old abandoned coal mine ground of about 300 acres, Redbird SRA is now an off road riding destination managed by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The site has expanded to include 1,400 acres of professionally marked, managed and maintained riding trails ranging over multiple skill levels. Three types of trails are offered in easy, more difficult, and most difficult skill levels, and are divided into motorcycle only trails, motorcycle and ATV trails, UTV only trails and multi-use trails.
