Perform the ollie by placing your back foot over the board's tail and your front foot just before the front truck's bolts. Tilt the front foot to a diagonal position on the board. Once you have the footing, push down as hard as possible using your front foot. Pop your front foot off the ground. As you do this, the board should also rise. Lift your back foot at this moment to move higher. Tuck your knees to your chest to get the ollie as high as you can. Land with your knees bent to absorb impact.

Start off a kickflip much like you would an ollie. Place your front foot in a similar position, but hang the heel off the board's side. Place your back foot in regular ollie position with no changes. Pop up into the ollie. Drag your front foot up as usual, but flick it off the board's corner, where the nose goes upward. Flick using only your front foot. Don't use your entire leg. Pull the front foot back during the board's spin. Once it finishes, bring down your feet to land.

Perform a manual by maintaining balance on your skateboard. Reach a decent speed on your board, then place your back foot across your board's tail. The ball of your front foot should go behind the front trucks. Slowly begin shifting weight toward your back foot. Simultaneously, lean your upper body toward the nose. Use your arms for additional balance. Transfer your weight back to your front foot when you finish your manual. Always do manuals on flat, smooth surfaces.
