Local Grants
-
Local grant opportunities for building and maintaining a skatepark may be available through municipal funds. Depending on your community, the municipal budget may be administered by the select board, city council or other elected body. Create a proposal for funding, and lobby to include the skatepark in the budget. Build community support with local leaders and businesses that would benefit from the addition of a skatepark. Request letters of support from other municipal bodies like the local Parks Department.
