How to Fold a Pop-Up Screen Tent

Pop-up screen tents are an easy addition to picnics and camping. They are made of wire which, when released, pops up into tent form so you don't need to do anything but unwrap it. They let in the sun and other elements but keep bugs away. These tents come in a variety of sizes; some are even small enough for just a baby to sleep in. Despite being so handy, it can be a challenge to figure out how to get the tent back into its original shape. However, once you've grasped the process, the tent naturally goes back to its collapsed shape.

      Pull each end of the tent toward each other so the tent starts to fold in the middle and the two ends touch.

      Turn the tent so it is vertical and the two touching ends are in the middle. Hold onto the ends with one hand so the tent doesn't come undone, and grasp the highest part of the tent. Pull this end down and in toward the center. The tent will form a rounded, trianglular shape.

      Collapse the tent by folding one side of the triangle to the bottom and then fold the remaining side. The result will be a flat, disc-shaped tent that can be secured using the straps that came with it. Most tents also come with a bag to slide the tent into for safe storage.
