Square Knot Instructions
The square knot, also called a reef knot, is a quick and simple knot used for tying a rope around another object. It is a knot frequently used in macrame and other crafts, and in many outdoor activities such as boating and camping. It is not a secure enough knot to be used for rock climbing or other sports where safety is an issue, and it is not recommended when connecting ropes or cords of differing thicknesses.
