The Washing Instructions for Mammut Rope
Swiss-based Mammut is known for making rock and ice-climbing gear. Included in these products are a line of ropes. Climbing ropes, by nature, are exposed to grit, dust, dirt and harsh elements. In order to preserve the long life of your Mammut rope, it needs to be cleaned when dirty. Washing these ropes rids them of grease, grime and grit, thus making them lighter and easier to grip.
