Instructions for the Pinnacle Extant EX10HX

The Pinnacle Extant EX10HX is a fishing reel with nine stainless steel bearings, a balanced rotor and unlimited Anti-Reverse technology. This Pinnacle reel model is also designed with a ResistTist Line roller and multiple Stack Drag washers. The Extant reel is made to tame running game fish with its machined aluminum spool and handle that are constructed for the long life of the reel. The basic instructions for the Pinnacle Extant EX10HX are fairly straightforward.

     Turn the knob on the magnetic cast controller to a higher setting to give more brake force to the spool. Turn the knob to a lower setting to reduce the brake force.

     Turn the cast control knob clockwise to increase the amount of friction by reducing the casting distance. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to decrease the friction.

     Turn the star-shaped drag adjustment wheel forward to increase the drag to create an even flow of the fishing line.
