Instructions

1
Remove the magazine. Pull the slide to the rear. Visually inspect the chamber to ensure that no live ammunition is present.
-
2
Pull the slide to the rear by 1/8 inch. Pull down on the horizontal take-down pin located in front of the trigger guard. While holding the pin down, push the slide forward and off of the frame.
-
3
Apply firm pressure to the trigger pin using a Glock disassembly tool. The trigger pin is located on the left side of the frame, just above the trigger.
-
4
Push the slide-top lever back and forth while holding pressure on the trigger pin. This will release the slide-top lever spring from its groove on the trigger pin. Pull the trigger pin out of the weapon.
-
5
Reattach the slide to the frame by lining up the slide rails with the frame rails. Pull the slide back to the rear fully, then push forward.
-
6
Secure the weapon in a padded gun vise. Slip the SJC C-More mount over the slide. Line up the mount's rear mounting hole with the hole left by the trigger pin. Using the mount as a stencil, mark the mount's front hole placement on the frame.
-
7
Remove the weapon from the vise. Remove the mount and take off the slide again. Secure the frame in the gun vise.
-
8
Drill the holes for the cylinder portion of the internal retaining nut (supplied with mount) into the both sides of the frame. Hold the cylinder portion of the internal retaining nut with needle nose pliers. Heat the rim portion of the retaining nut using a propane torch for 45 seconds.
-
9
Press the internal retaining nut into the drilled hole until the rim is flush with the frame. Repeat for the opposite side of the frame.
-
10
Reattach the slide. Line up the SJC mount as before with the trigger pin hole. Screw in the trigger pin replacement screw (provided with mount) from left to right using a 1/16 inch hex key. Screw in the two provided hex bolts on the front mount holes using the 1/16 inch hex key. Hand tighten. Rack the slide a few times to check for proper function.
