How to Change the Oil Filter on a Yamaha XV1100 Jet Ski
Yamaha manufactures its own brand of personal water craft (PWC) known as the WaveRunner, which should not be confused with Jet Ski -- a brand name of PWCs made by Kawasaki. WaveRunners require routine maintenance to stay running in top form. One maintenance job that must be done regularly is changing the oil. In addition to draining the old oil and adding fresh motor oil, owners must change the oil filter. Replacement filters are available at marine dealerships and parts stores.
