Gravity Dropper uses high grade aircraft aluminum in constructing all three models. This type of aluminum allows each model to be strong, yet lightweight. The Gravity Dropper Turbo weighs 470 g. At 510 g, the Classic model is the heaviest, while the Descender weighs just 365 g. The total weight of each model includes the seatpost and all necessary hardware.
Switching Mechanisms

The Turbo and Classic models allow you to adjust the seat height using a switch on your handlebars. To lower your seat, you push the switch and then sit down. To raise your seat, you push the switch and then sit up. The Gravity Dropper Descender utilizes a knob located on the front of your post to raise and lower your seat. To lower your seat, you pull the knob and sit down. To raise your seat, you pull the knob and sit up.
Dimensions

The seatpost size for each Gravity Dropper model is available in 26.5, 27 and 27.2 mm diameters. They can be adapted to fit larger sizes, up to 34.9 mm in diameter. The standard length for each model is 350 mm. Shorter and longer sizes are available.
Drop and Exposed Post

Each model has a standard drop of three inches. The standard drop requires that you have a minimum of 6.25 inches of post exposed when the seat is in the up position. Two and four inch drops are also available for all Gravity Dropper models. A minimum of 2.25 inches of exposed post are required for the two inch drop. The 4 inch drop requires a minimum of 7.25 inches of post be exposed.
