How to Reinforce a Roller Ski Shaft
Roller skiing is an effective way to stay fit when the cross country skiing season is over. Roller skis are similar to cross-country skis, but they are equipped with wheels for rolling on hard surfaces. Shorter than typical skis, they range 21 to 35 inches in length. First developed as gear for cross-country training during the summer months, the activity is now enjoyed as a recreational sport by many skiers. Skiers use the same set of poles for cross county and roller skiing. Pole shafts need to be maintained and reinforced regularly, especially when switching the tips seasonally.
