The Magpul company produces accessories for military M16 and M4 rifles as well as civilian AR15 rifles. Designed to meet military specifications, Magpul accessories are designed with the shooter in mind to help make difficult tactical shooting situations more manageable. Instructions

    • 1

Remove the magazine from the weapon and pull the charging handle back to clear the firing chamber. Inspect the chamber to determine that there is no ammunition present and the weapon is safe to handle.

    • 2

Hold the M16, M4 or AR15 rifle with one hand near the receiver or forearm.

    • 3

Locate the release lever on the Magpul CTR that is located inside the A-frame of the stock. Grasp the top tube of the CTR stock so the lever is accessible with your index finger.

    • 4

Press the end of the release lever up with your finger to release the stock for adjustment. Pull back on the stock to extend it fully or to the desired position.

    • 5

Shoulder the weapon and place your cheek on the stock. Determine if the length at which the Magpul CTR stock is adjusted is comfortable and allows proper sighting. Adjust the position of the stock by pressing the release lever and moving the stock in or out, if necessary.
