Hi-Tech Tent Instructions

Hi-Tech tents are sold through a variety of large retailers. These tents are priced for bargain campers, and are made for front-country and campground camping. The tents use a nylon fabric for the walls and fly, and aluminum poles for the supports. Stakes are provided, because the tents are not freestanding. Mesh windows keep bugs out, and allow for air circulation. Hi-tech tents and outdoor products are soften sold as "house" brands at "big-box" stores.

Instructions

      Clear rocks and debris from the campsite. Pull the tent and poles from the storage bag. Spread out the main body of the tent.

      Assemble the poles by sliding the rod blanks into each other. Avoid bending or stretching the shock cords. Set the assembled poles to the side.

      Thread the poles through the sleeve guides along the top of the tent. Push all the poles through the sleeves. The poles form a "star" radiating from the center of the tent's top.

      Push the tips of the poles into the pole grommets at the ends of the tent sleeves. The sleeves are located at the base of the tent.

      Push stakes through the stake loops near the tent-pole grommets along the base of the tent.

      Spread the rain fly over the top of the tent. Thread the vestibule pole through the rain-fly sleeves. Connect the vestibule pole to the main tent at the grommets above the door.

      Pull out all poles out and stakes when you break down the tent. Roll up the tent, and return it to the bag. Place the poles and stakes in the pole bag; slide the pole bag into the main storage bag. Stuff the rain fly in the tent storage bag.
