How to Mount a Bullet Camera to a Bike
Instructions
-
-
1
Purchase a cheap bicycle headlight at the dollar store. There will be several choices. Choose one with the largest headlight.
-
2
Remove the device from the package and separate the mount from the headlight. Open the plastic jaws of the handlebar mount and slide it over the handlebar. Slide it as close to the stem as possible on the opposite side of the stem from your bike computer--if your bike has one.
-
3
Tighten down the mount with the Phillips screwdriver. If the jaws of the mount close before it's tight on the handlebars, slide the mount over, wrap foam tape around the spot where the mount goes, slide it back into place and tighten again.
-
4
Wrap the bullet camera several times with the foam tape. There will be a flat spot on top of the handlebar mount where the headlight was supposed to be mounted. Place the camera there aligning it with your bike frame.
-
5
Thread the zip ties through and under the flat mounting spot of the headlight mount front and back. Tighten the zip ties together with equal pressure to get your alignment right.
