How to Perform WWE Power Bomb Moves

Throughout the history of the WWE and other pro wrestling organizations, there have been power house wrestlers who would come in and dismantle their opponents. One move that several wrestlers used was the power bomb. It's simple: You would pick your opponent up and slam him on his back. But there have been several variations used throughout the years.

Instructions

  1. Pearl River Plunge

    • 1

Kick your opponent in the gut. The Pearl River Plunge is the patented finisher used by former WWE wrestler Ahmed Johnson.

    • 2

Stick his head between your legs, and signal to the crowd that you are about to perform the move.

    • 3

Lift him up by his hips so that he flips over and is facing you.

    • 4

Toss him up into the air and quickly catch him.

    • 5

Slam his back into the mat, and land in a sit-down position to complete the move.

    Top Rope Powerbomb

    • 6

Wait for your opponent to climb to the top rope.

    • 7

Run over before he has a chance move or jump off.

    • 8

Lift his legs so that they are hanging over your shoulders.

    • 9

Pick him up off of the top rope, and carry him to the center of the ring.

    • 10

Slam his back into the wrestling mat to complete the power bomb.

    Other Power Bomb Moves

    • 11

Stand on top of a table, and power bomb your opponent through it for maximum damage.

    • 12

Extend your arms straight up when you are lifting your opponent to perform the Undertaker’s Last Ride.

    • 13

Lift your opponent over your back, and hold him by his armpits to perform Razor’s Edge, the Scott Hall variation of a power bomb.

    • 14

Climb to the top of a ladder. Wait for your opponent to climb up to the other side, and then flip over his body, grab his legs and power bomb him to the mat below.
