How to perform WWE wrestler The Undertaker's Old School

The Undertaker has been wrestling in the WWE for almost 20 years now, and throughout all of those years, he has had classic feuds, great matches and holds the record at WWE’s biggest pay per view, Wrestlemania. One of his trademark moves is “Old School” and has been performed on countless superstars like Edge, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kane. With a little work and great balance, you could perform “Old School” in a wrestling ring.

Instructions

    • 1

Get your opponent in position. Setting up your opponent for “Old School” could be a little tricky because he needs to be standing while doing the move. Instead of starting the move with your opponent on his feet, you should knock him to the ground first.

    • 2

Knock him to the ground using one of the Undertaker’s trademark moves, like the big boot or the choke slam. With the opponent dazed, you can now lift him to his feet and have control over his body.

    • 3

Drag him over to the corner of the ring. Preferably, bring him to the closest corner, so he do not realize what is happening and try to sabotage the move.

    • 4

Grab onto one of the opponent’s arms by the wrist and begin climbing the turnbuckles until you have reached the top.

    • 5

Still holding onto the wrist, begin walking across the top turnbuckle. This requires a lot of balance and is key in performing the move. Do not pull on the arm too tightly, or you may lose your balance and fall to the mat.

    • 6

Once you have reached the center of the ring ropes, stop walking and gain full balance.

    • 7

Now, yank the opponent's arm for leverage and pull yourself down in a jumping motion. With the arm that is not holding the wrist, clench your fist and slam it into the upper back of your opponent as you near the ground.

    • 8

The opponent will go crashing down into the mat, and you can now attempt a pin fall or try to add further damage to your opponent.
