How to Perform The Undertaker's Chokeslam

Ever since his debut with the WWE in 1990, the Undertaker has wrestled dozens of superstars and cemented his place in WWE history. He has battled wrestlers like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and many more on his way to the top of the WWE ladder. To help him get there, the Undertaker has utilized several finishers, one of the most devastating being the Choke slam. Here's how to perform this maneuver.

Instructions

    • 1

Use the choke slam towards the end of match. This is when it will be the affective because it will give the opponent even more damage and allow you an easy victory.

    • 2

Take your dominant hand and hold it up into the air.

    • 3

As the opponent comes at you, extend your dominant hand out and grasp their neck tightly.

    • 4

Look him in the eyes and try to get them to express fear.

    • 5

Use your other hand and place it around your opponent’s body and onto their back.

    • 6

Lift up your opponent by putting most of the weight onto the arm holding their back.

    • 7

Hold them high above your head for a brief second and then slam them down hard onto the mat. They should be slammed with their back into the mat.

    • 8

Execute a pin fall or give your opponent further damage.

    • 9

The choke slam can also be performed as a sneak attack. The best way to do this is when your opponent is on the top turnbuckle.

    • 10

Run over to your opponent as they stand on the top turnbuckle.

    • 11

Grasp them by their neck and slam them down onto the mat.

    • 12

You can also wait for the opponent to jump and catch in the neck in mid-air. This version takes a lot of practice but will allow you to inflict more damage onto your opponent.
