1
Place large collectibles, such as jerseys and football helmets, in display cases to keep them in mint condition. Put them in a dry room with low lighting to avoid water and light damage. Because helmets and jerseys come in different sizes, measure your collectibles before buying cases in which to place them. Find display cases made specifically for footballs and helmets so that they fit in the cases properly and do not shift around. Use glass display cases so that people can see the memorabilia inside the cases.

2
Put the display cases with your football memorabilia on a shelf or in a curio cabinet so that others can see your collectibles. Clean your shelf or curio cabinet before putting your collectibles within it, and also periodically remove the items from the display area to clean it with wood or furniture polish.

3
Put your collectibles in a room or on a wall that is not already cluttered so that the focus is on your football items, according to HGTV. You can also create a football-themed room that integrates your collectibles. Sports-themed rooms often have a color scheme based on a favorite team and furniture with football-inspired motifs, which incorporate goalpost, football or helmet designs.
-
4
Arrange your collectibles so that you highlight certain pieces or that you give equal focus to all of your items. You can position your collectibles from smallest to largest or by color scheme. You could also position larger football collectibles or the most valuables pieces in the middle of the shelf or cabinet to highlight them.

5
Add memorabilia to your collection gradually, moving your collection around to accommodate new pieces and adding shelves to put your new items. Put away certain pieces when adding new collectibles so that your home or sports-themed room does not develop a disorderly appearance.
