Penn State Girls' Softball Camps

Penn State Girls's Softball Camp offers two four-day summer sessions for girls in grades 7 to12, as well as recent high school graduates not yet enrolled in college. Aimed at improving batting and fielding skills as well as teaching softball strategies, girls receive daily lectures and demonstrations, and participate in drills. Campers also receive individual help tailored to their specific needs. During their free time, the girls have access to Penn State's facilities, including training rooms and an outdoor swimming pool.
Nike Softball Camps

Nike offers an intensive four-night, five-day summer softball camp at Gettysburg College that is open to girls age 10 to 18 of all ability levels. With a focus on improving softball performance and increasing confidence, comprehensive skills are taught, including fielding, hitting and base running as well as strategies for successful team involvement. Campers also receive individual instruction, prizes, games, and a graduation certificate upon completion.
Shippensburg University Softball Camps

Shippensburg University Softball Camps offers two four-night, five-day summer softball camps for girls ages 10 to 17. Daily camp schedules include intense one-on-one instruction and six hours of further instruction and analysis in fielding, batting, and running bases. Instruction in pitching and catching are available on request. While girls generally play within their own age group, some players may be moved to alternative groups, depending on their skill level. The campers will primarily be taught by members of the Shippensburg University softball coaching staff as well college-level players.
Shady Side Academy Softball Camps

Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh offers a one-day intensive pitching and hitting camp for girls age 8 to 18. Mornings are devoted to learning about hitting slow and fast pitching, while slow and fast pitch techniques are taught in the afternoons--with lunch served in between to campers enrolled in both the morning and afternoon sessions. Specifically, the campers learn proper footwork, arm technique, proper grips for pitching, off-speed pitches, all aspects of hitting, as well as mental aspects of softball.
