1
Draw the matrix on a piece of paper using the ruler and pen. There should be 10 rows and 10 columns creating 100 total squares. The squares should be large enough to write people’s initials.
-
2
Write the numerals zero through nine on 10 pieces of small paper and place them in a hat. Beginning with the top squares, draw numbers and write each one on top of the squares until all 10 columns have numbers on top. Repeat this for the left side rows. This ensures a random numbering.
-
3
Assign the coin sides with each football team playing. For instance, the Tigers are heads and the Lions are tails. The first coin flip will be the top-side team. Write the team’s name on the top and side after the flip.
-
4
Select squares by writing people’s initials in each square. This is usually done by allowing all of the players to choose one square at a time taking turns. Continue until all 100 squares have been chosen.
