How to Lace-Up Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots

Burton's Emerald snowboard boots are women-specific boots aimed at all-around riding. A middle-of-the-line boot, the Emeralds feature True Fit design, heat moldable liners, and toe boxes that can carrying disposable toe warmers. The boots' Speed Zone Lacing is a little different than your average tie lacing, but should help to get a snugger fit.

Instructions

    • 1

Pull the outer tongue out slightly to reveal the liner lacing. Pull the lacing tight around your foot and ankle by pulling upward on the handle. When tight, push the tab down until it meets the liner.

    • 2

Adjust the tightness of the inner boot as needed by pulling the tab up and pushing down. When properly adjusted, lock the tab. Roll the excess lacing up and tuck it below the outer tongue.

    • 3

Grab the plastic pulls on either side of the boot. The pulls will tighten the lower and upper zones of the boot.

    • 4

Pull the lower zone lacing tight first and then tighten the upper zone.

    • 5

Roll the pulls up and place each one in the pouch on its respective side, once tight enough.
