1
Secure the snowboard to a work bench using C-clamps. Be sure to keep the mounting points of the board exposed.
-
2
Unscrew the old bindings and mounts using a power drill set in reverse. Use a horse-hair brush to brush off the old holes and deck.
-
3
Place the new bindings -- or old ones, if readjusting -- onto the snowboard deck. Mark the screw holes you want to drill by marking them on the deck. Remove the bindings.
-
4
Apply a drop of board glue into each old hole, and add a hole plug. Let the glue dry. Typically, it takes a few minutes for the glue to set.
-
5
Drill out the new holes, being sure to set the drill so it will not go any deeper than 2 centimeters. (Most board and ski measurements are in metric.) Drill out the holes, and brush them off with the horse-hair brush.
-
6
Screw the bindings onto the holes. If your bindings have a dedicated torque setting, use a torque wrench to set the screws.
