How to Load a .223 Stripper
The .223 Remington is used as a civilian version of the Colt AR-15 and other semi-automatic rifles. These rifles hold the cartridges in a magazine, or "clip," that is inserted through the bottom of the rifle. The magazine can be loaded by hand or with the assistance of a stripper clip, which is a metal strip that holds 10 cartridges, or rounds. The stripper allows 10 rounds to be pushed into the magazine at one time. A stripper clip guide must be used to attach the stripper clip to the magazine.
