How to Design Your Basketball Sweatpants

Custom designed basketball sweatpants can boost a team's spirit, by allowing them to wear their team's logo or colors both on and off the court. Traditionally, the design and printing processes were kept separate, with the design being handled by one party and the printing being handled by another. A number of online printing companies, however, now allow you to design and order your sweatpants using the website's interface, and enable you to see a preview of your order before it is placed. Using one of these websites, you can design basketball sweatpants for yourself or your team in a few simple steps.

      Open the computer's Web browser and navigate to a website that allows you to design and order custom sweatpants. Custom Ink, Design a Shirt and Bender Shirts are a few of the companies that allow you to do this on their websites.

      Click on the style/brand of sweatpants you wish to design and start the design process. Select the color for your sweatpants from the following page. Once the color is selected, the design menu will appear.

      Select the "Add Art" button to bring up the art menu. Here, you may use an image that is saved on your computer (your team's logo, for example) or you may choose an image from the website's clip art image database. Once you have selected an image, adjust the width and height of the image using the onscreen menu, and drag the image to the desired location on the sweatpants. You also can change the color and rotation of the image.

      Choose the "Add Text" button to bring up the text menu. Type the text you want to appear on the sweatpants in the space provided, and click the "Next" button. On the following screen, you can adjust the font style, font size, font color and rotation of the text. Once you have set these parameters to your liking, click on the image and drag it to the desired location on the sweatpants.

      Click the "Save" button to save the design. Click the "Quote" button to receive a quote for the proposed design, and click the "Order" button to order the proposed design. When you order your sweatpants, you will be asked to provide your billing and shipping information. With this information provided, you may order your custom designed sweatpants.
