How to Replace Old Spikes on Shoes

Shoes with spikes may be necessary for certain sports. They add friction and control when running on wet or slippery grass and dirt for sports like baseball, football, and soccer. For track and field, spikes add traction and grip between your shoes and the track surface. After your sport season is over, your should remove the spikes from your shoes and replace them. This will help to prevent older spikes from breaking and perhaps causing injury.
