T-Shirts
-
Basic pom t-shirts are ideal for pom camps, practice training and younger girls attending the camp. T-shirts are customizable to include the school name, pom squad name or other generic saying such as "Pom Squad" and "Future Pom Squad" Choose shirts that are 100 percent cotton for breathability and either short-sleeve, cap-sleeve or a tank top style.
Polo Shirt
-
Polo shirts come in either short sleeve or sleeveless styles with a V-neck front. The look is more structured; however, the shirts can work for both the squad and the coaches. Have the school name, mascot or the wearer's name monogrammed onto the left side of the shirt. Polo shirts work well if there are men on the team who dance alongside the girls. Dressing everyone in polo shirts gives the squad a look that coordinates well.
Body Suit
-
Dress high-performance squads in bodysuits for easy mobility. Body suits, typically made from microfiber or Lycra, come in short sleeve or long sleeve styles and typically snap at the crotch area. Other options include a midriff baring bodysuit that stops just at the belly button line. Add a silk-screen design to the front of the bodysuit to display the school name or mascot. Wear the bodysuit with a pleated skirt or matching microfiber or Lycra skirt for a complete outfit.
Shell Top
-
Shells are a typical choice for pom squads because of their customizable design, and the ability to save the shirts and reuse them for the next pom squad. Shells are typically sleeveless, V-neck and cover the entire stomach area; however, some shells come in a scalloped edge neckline and expose the stomach. The shell shirt typically contains two to three different colors to represent the school and the name of the mascot, the school letters or the school name.
