Know that, by and large, the old Oilers' fight song is the only one with any kind of official status in terms of the club's history. Nowadays, it is generally sung by substituting "Tennessee Titans" anywhere the words "Houston Oilers" appears.

Learn the first verse of the fight song: "Look out football, here we come, Tennessee Titans: number one. Tennessee has the Titans, the greatest football team. We take the ball from goal to goal like no one's ever seen! We're in the air, we're on the ground--always in control. And when you say the Titans, you're talking Super Bowl!"

    • 3

Get to know the chorus: "Cause we're the Tennessee Titans, Tennessee Titans, Tennessee Titans, number one. Yes, we're the Tennessee Titans, Tennessee Titans, Tennessee Titans, number one!"

    • 4

Sing the third verse after the chorus: "We've got the offense, we've got the defense, we give the other team no hope. 'Cause we're the Tennessee Titans, Tennessee Titans, you know we're gonna hold the rope!"

    • 5

Repeat the chorus, then sing verse three: "Cause we're the Tennessee Titans, Tennessee Titans, Tennessee Titans, number one! Five--seven--eight: we're the best from the Volunteer State! Tennessee Titans, Tennessee Titans, Tennessee Titans, number one!"

Prepare a printed copy of the lyrics to any songs you want to learn to sing. That way, you won't be obligated to stay attached to your computer desk while you sing along. Memory experts recommend manually re-typing the lyrics into a word processor to force your brain to process them word by word.

    • 7

Listen to a recording of the song, or download the song directly onto your computer if you prefer. This is a good idea if your Internet connection is slower, as streaming media can get choppy at slower connection speeds.

    • 8

Try to sing along with the music without referring to your lyrics sheet. Check it only to fill in any gaps in your memory that you might encounter in your initial attempts, or to review any passages that give you repeated problems.
