Cool Face Painting Ideas for Sporting Events

Nothing says team spirit like painting your face blue. But in addition to the highly committed and involved idea of painting your face an entire color, there are other patterns that you can experiment with. and come up with a look that has "serious fan" written all over it. You can use logos, numbers, team colors or a combination of these ideas for your customized face paint look.
  1. Team Colors

    • Use the team colors as a guide and go wild, covering half of your face with each color or just using the team colors to create the pattern or logo of your choice.

    Logo

    • Draw your team's logo out in pencil first to make sure you can do it clearly. Then paint the pattern across your cheek or forehead.

    Mascot

    • Draw your team's mascot on your cheek, or go for a full-face effect (perfect for young sports fans!) and paint your entire face to become the mascot. You can achieve this look by covering your face in a foundation the color of the mascot and playing up eyes, cheeks and lips to resemble the mascot.

    Numbers

    • If you're rooting for a particular player, paint her number across your cheeks or forehead to show your support.

    Group Effort

    • If you're visiting a game in a group, become a package deal by creating a pattern that is only complete when everyone stands in formation. Try giving each person one letter of the team's name or a portion of the logo. For instance, to support the Lakers, a group of threes might have "LA" "KE" and "RS" painted across their faces, which is visible as "LAKERS" when they are seated together.
