- Household hooks

Use a stud finder to locate the wooden frame on the ceiling. Attaching the hooks without driving them into the wooden frame would lead to the drywall ripping and being unable to support your weight.

Attach the hooks to the ceiling by using drywall screws to drive through the ceiling and attach to the wooden frame. Make sure to place the hooks about 2 to 3 inches apart, and attach both parallel to one another to the wooden frame.

Drape the P90X resistance bands across the two hooks so both ends hang down in front of you equally. By using two hooks, there is more support and it makes it less likely that you could pull the hooks out of the ceiling.
