Things You'll Need
- 2-by-4 wood plank, 8 feet long
- 2 1-inch galvanized steel pipe nipples, 7 inches long, threaded ends

- 4 pipe flanges
- Wood screws and screwdriver
- Saw
Instructions

1
Cut the 2-by-4 plank into four lengths about 2 feet long using a handsaw or circular saw.
-
2
Screw a galvanized street elbow onto each end of both 7-inch pipe nipples.
-
3
Screw a pipe flange onto each male end of the street elbows installed in Step 2. You should now have two handles shaped somewhat like towel racks that you can attach to the cut 2-by-4 sections.
-
4
Center one of the handles on the wide side of one of the four 24-inch long 2-by-4s. Insert wood screws through the mounting holes in the flanges and into the wooden plank. Mount the other handle in the same way on another 2-by-4.
-
5
Place the remaining two 2-by-4s on the ground parallel to each other. Position the 2-by-4s with the mounted handles on top of and perpendicular to the bottom boards about shoulder width apart. Screw the top planks to the bottom planks. You now have a stable handstand station that allows you to grasp the handles and perform a better handstand.
