How to Adjust the Belt on a TX300 Sportcraft
Adjusting the belt on the TX300 Sportcraft treadmill will extend the life of the drive belt by reducing wear on the belt. A belt that is too loose or to tight will wear out more quickly, as will a belt that is lined up improperly on the track. The treadmill has adjustment screws on the ends of both rails that can be adjusted with a nut driver.

1
Locate the adjustment screws on the end caps of the TX300 Sportcraft treadmill. Determine whether the belt needs to be tightened or loosened by lifting up on the sides of the belt. If you can raise the belt more than 1/2 inch, it needs to be tightened; if you can raise it less than 1/4 inch, it needs to be loosened a bit.

2
Adjust the tension of the belt by turning both right-side adjustment bolts counterclockwise with a nut driver to loosen the belt and clockwise to tighten the belt.
-
3
Center the belt on the treadmill by turning both left-side adjustment bolts counterclockwise with a nut driver to move the belt to the left and clockwise to move the belt to the right.
