1
Pour rubbing alcohol onto a rag and wipe off the area just under the middle lip on Sea Doo side to remove grit and grease. This is the area where the transducer suction cup mount will go. Place it in the first third of the GTX body length to avoid the air bubbles kicked up from the GTX jet outflows at the back of the craft.
-
2
Press the suction cup mount firmly against the cleaned area on the GTX. Be sure the transducer hinge is out and up so the angle may be adjusted. Insert the depth finder transducer into the bracket so the emitting side is facing out and down to the water.
-
3
Unscrew the C-clamp handlebar mount and wrap it around your desired handlebar side on the GTX. Insert the screws and tighten down onto the handlebar. The turn radius on the GTX without the mount is approximately 35 degrees. Position the mount so the radius is minimally affected. Try pushing the handlebars to the full turn radius to ensure the mount does not impede the steering.

4
Insert the display screen onto the handlebar mount bracket so the screen is facing the cockpit of the GTX. Plug the transducer cable to the back of the display screen and run it to the transducer. Use zip ties to secure the cable to the side loops of the GTX to prevent the cable from dangling in the water or wind.

5
Add the recommended batteries to the device and turn it on to test it.
