How Do I Set the Clock on My Yamaha Snowmobile Apex Attachment?

Yamaha snowmobiles provide a variety of useful information for riders including oil change lights, brake lights, speedometers and a clock. The snowmobile's clock is a part of an Apex attachment, typically located in-between the vehicle's handles. You must reset the clock if you replace the Apex attachment's battery. You will also probably want to change the clock an additional two times a year to account for daylight savings time.

      Locate the "Select" and "Reset" knobs on the Apex speedometer. These knobs should be in the upper left of the speedometer, next to the engine RPM gauge.

      Press both of these knobs simultaneously. Hold the knobs for about three seconds. The clock display should flash.

      Depress the "Reset" knob. Keep tapping on this knob to increase the hour. Each tap increases the hour by one. When you reach the correct hour, press "Select." The flashing should switch to the minutes.

      Press "Reset" to increase the minutes. When you arrive at the appropriate minute, press "Select."
