Instructions

Start by slipping the loop of the hand wrap strap over your thumb and spread apart all the fingers on your hand tightly; now relax it some. You will need to keep your fingers spread open without your hand being too stiff, as you will need to be able form a fist after you have wrapped your hand.

    • 2

Look at the hand wrap strap to determine which side goes down against your hand. Pull the hand wrap strap around your palm and up around your wrist a couple of times. This wrap needs to be secure and snug without being too tight.

    • 3

Circle the hand wrap around the knuckle area of your hand a couple of times. The wrap will be going between the thumb and index finger.

    • 4

Wrap the strap across the palm and up through the middle of the little finger and ring finger and down below the thumb. Do this wrap around and between each finger of the hand.

    • 5

Slide the hand wrap strap back around the knuckle for a couple more wraps and then wrap around the wrist for a couple more wraps. Alternate wrapping the knuckle and wrist area of the hand until you reach the end portion of the hand wrap.

    • 6

Secure the end of the hand wrap by using the Velcro closure.

    • 7

Form a fist with your hand to make sure the hand wrap is not too tight, but tight enough. Do the wrap over if it doesn't feel right. If you're ready to go, it's time to slip on the boxing gloves.
