Step-by-Step WWE Finishing Moves

"WWE Smackdown 2011" was released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010. It features more than 40 WWE Superstars and Divas, so you can take control of your favorite wrestler in a variety of match types. Wrestlers can perform all the moves they are known for, such as their signature moves and finishing moves. In order to perform a finishing move, you must first earn a finishing move token.

Instructions

    • 1

Perform any move on your opponent, from punches to grapples, to build momentum. Momentum is displayed as the blue bar under your wrestler. Repeating the same move will decrease the amount of momentum gained each time it is performed, and getting hit will decrease your momentum.

    • 2

When your momentum moves past the white line on the momentum bar, an "S" will be displayed next to the bar, indicating that a signature move can be performed.

    • 3

Press "Y" on the Xbox 360 controller or "Triangle" on the PlayStation 3 controller to perform your signature move. Each wrestler has a different location for his signature move -- he may need to be in front of his opponent, on the turnbuckle, or running at his opponent. When a signature move is performed, the momentum bar will turn red and the wrestler will earn a finishing token, displayed as an "F" next to the momentum bar.

    • 4

Press "Y" on the Xbox 360 controller or "Triangle" on the PlayStation 3 controller to perform your finishing move. Like the signature move, the location for this move will be different for each wrestler. For example, Stone Cold Steve Austin performs his finisher, "The Stunner," from the front of an opponent in the game, just as he would in a televised wrestling match. When you are in the right location, the word "Finisher" will appear under your wrestler. The screen will zoom in for a cinematic effect when the move is performed.
