  1. Tim Thomas Hockey Camps

    • Tim Thomas, veteran of the NHL, AHL, Olympic and International play and a one-time Vezina trophy candidate for best goalie, hosts his Maine-based hockey camp throughout New England, making annual stops in Marlborough, MA. Along with a small staff of dedicated coaches who are goalies themselves, the former Bruins star instructs budding goalies on the finer points of the game, both on and off the ice. Strength and conditioning is stressed, along with nutritional seminars and one-on-one instruction addressing how to make saves in a variety of game situations. The camp, which is generally held on two separate occasions in August, is available for young goalies ages 6 to 17.

    Barletta's Goalie School

    • Coach Rob Barletta believes in hard work on and off the ice in order to make the young goalie not only better at his position but also a better team player overall. Each player receives individualized attention and practice regimens based on his existing strengths and weaknesses. Several camp options are available: separate day camps for boys and girls, boarding camps (where the player stays overnight), elite level college plus one-on-one private skill lessons.     Bertagna

    • Another player with ties to the Bruins is Joe Bertagna, a former NHL player and Olympic goaltending coach who has owned and operated his annual camps for well over 30 years. Joe offers three separate camp options for senior players (ages 12 and over) and juniors (under 12). Students can choose a Monday through Friday schedule that includes classroom and on-ice work, or shorter camps that last only three or four days. As of 2010, Joe Bertagna hosts his camps in North Andover, Burlington, Bedford, Hamilton, Hingham and Marlboro. Joe also hosts an all-female camp every summer at different times than the regular camps. As of 2010, prices ranged from $350 to $250, depending on package selected.
