How to Do a Front Flip Tuck
Gymnastics floor routines feature series of twisting and flipping jumps and roundoffs, performed in rapid succession. The tucked front flip is a common maneuver in floor routines in which a performer takes off from the ground, performs a tuck in mid-air which causes her to rotate head-over-heels a full rotation and land back on her feet. In order to perform a front flip a great deal of height is required so the jump is usually performed at the close of a chain to build off the smaller jumps' momentum.
