Swim Camps in Wisconsin

If you have a child who has not mastered the skill of swimming, consider enrolling him or her in a swim camp. A swim camp will give your child the opportunity to learn how to swim and feel safe in the water. Kids that are advanced swimmers can continue to sharpen their skills and improve their swimming techniques by enrolling in a swim camp. Swim camps offers the opportunity in a safe and structured environment for kids to make new friends and gain experience. Wisconsin offers swim camps for both beginners and advanced swimmers.

  1. University of Wisconsin Whitewater

    • At the UW-Whitewater Swimming camps, children will learn various swimming skills including swimming techniques, stroke mechanics, and starts and turns. Swim camp will also offer dry-land sessions that cover strengthening and flexibility. Swim camp is held on campus at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and lessons are taught on campus at the Williams Center six-lane pool. Campers are placed in small groups for a more one-on-one training sessions and the sessions are videotaped. Swim camp sessions are instructed by college coaches, athletes and trainers. The UW-Whitewater swimming camp offers overnight and weekly commuter camps. The cost for commuter camp is $345 for the camp swim sessions and lunch. Overnight camp includes swim sessions, breakfast, dinner and lodging at the residence halls on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater campus. The overnight camp begins on Sunday morning and ends on Friday morning, and costs $395. The camp offers swimming camp for children 12 years or older.

    Swim & Gym All Sports Camp

    • At the Swim & Gym All Sports Camp, children will be a part of different activities including, swim camp, gymnastic lessons and field trips. Swim camp is held at the Swim West swim school and is taught inside of the school's indoor heated pool. Children are transported to and from Swim West by bus. Campers swimming skills are evaluated on the first day of camp to determine their level of swimming, and then placed in groups according to their age and their swimming skill level. A one week camp session cost $225 for the first enrollment session and $197 for additional sessions. For the camp's full summer of sessions, which consist of 10 weeks, the cost is $1,775 for the first sibling and $1,675 per each additional sibling. Swim & Gym All Sports Camp offers camps for children ages 5 to 13 years of age. Children are dropped off and picked up at the Badger Gymnastics Academy West. The Swim & Gym All Sports Camp offers day camp from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The camp also offers extended camp hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for an additional $6 per hour for the first child and $4 per hour for each additional sibling. Although healthy snacks are provided for campers, children must bring their lunch each day.

    Nike Sports Camp

    • The US Sports Camps is the licensed operator of the Nike Sports Camps, which has its headquarters in San Rafael, California. Nike Swim Camps are located in states across the country. The Nike Swim Camp in Wisconsin offers swim camp sessions held at the Albee Hall at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. The Nike Swim Camp sessions are designed for children ages 10 to 18 years of age. At the Nike Swim Camp in Wisconsin, children will learn various swimming skills including all four stroke techniques, conditioning both in and out of the pool and starts and turns. The director of the camp is Jon Wilson, the head swim coach at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. The Nike Swim Camp offers a weekly overnight camp that cost $465 and a weekly extended day camp that cost $365.
